Rediscover wonder, reawaken your senses, open yourself to adventure, expand your possibilities. Join signature artist Cathy Taylor for a creative journey that captures the exhilarating, exuberant, unique Italian way of life.
All levels of artistic explorers are welcome. Students are invited to experience new and easy techniques. Capture the colors of the Umbrian landscape with luminous alcohol inks. Create the rich textures of volcanic tufa rock and Etruscan caves with altered papers. Make a “fresco” tile to remind you of the lovely cathedral.
In this welcoming, joyful, fun filled workshop, Cathy will open new avenues for creative expression and invite you to enjoy the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of Orvieto through your artwork and help you create a collection of artistic memories.

Cathy Taylor is

artwork is a celebration of the
patterns, textures, and color found in the natural environment. Cathy is known for her ability to interpret a subject in a variety of styles. From her colorful detailed alphabetical designs including the Florida "Shell-A-Bet," to her whimsical collages and multi-dimensional abstracts, Cathy's work is represented in museums, nature centers and private collections throughout the U.S. and abroad.
Cathy's collages were juried into the National Collage Society's annual exhibition in 2005, 2007, 2011 and 2012. Her articles, "Anthologies," "The Nature of Art," "Rethink Alcohol Ink,” and "Creative Spirits" were featured in Cloth, Paper, Scissors magazine.
Cathy has created two DVD's; Watercolor Collage and Mixed Media Collage, and is a featured artist on artacademylive.com
She is a member of The High Country Watermedia Society (Past Pres.), SIGNATURE member of the International Society of Experimental Artists (award winner), and a SIGNATURE member of the National Collage Society (award winner).
