Trip Description
Paint, eat, draw, and love your way through the Italian countryside. Experience its unparalleled food, inspired architecture, lively market places and sacred spaces. Spend afternoons gathering inspiration from the vineyards and village life, and spend mornings capturing your experiences on canvas in the studio. The trip is a tribute to the masters: experiencing what it was like to be an artist in Europe, reflecting life through art.

Alix will introduce the laying out of unique composition with both your eye and your camera, bringing these ideas into our inspired studio. She will guide you in exploring color and composition, texture, line and value. You will work with acrylic paints. The subject of your masterpieces will be the people, the historic buildings, the captivating landscapes, and the delicious plates of amazing cuisine in front of you.

Leave Italy with a collection of paintings and drawings to share and inspire, drawn from your personal time and experiences abroad. Even more, you will leave with the ability to use your new techniques and approach of capturing life on canvas in your travels to come.
